Konica C35 Analogue camera

[Tested / Zone Focus] KONICA C35 E&L (335293) with Hexanon 38mm f/2.8

■ Overview

This is the KONICA C35 "E&L" (Serial: 335293), originally released in 1971. It is a very popular compact film camera equipped with the legendary sharp lens: Hexanon 38mm f/2.8.
Please note that this "E&L" model is a Zone Focus camera, NOT a Rangefinder.

[How to Focus (Important!)]
By design, there is NO rangefinder patch (double image) in the viewfinder.
To focus, simply look at the lens barrel and turn the focus ring to match the symbols (One Person / Three People / Mountains) or the distance numbers to your subject.
Because you don't have to look through the viewfinder to focus, it is incredibly fast and perfect for quick street photography!

This camera is a reliable practical shooter, offered in good working condition.

■ Condition

・Appearance: Very Good Vintage Condition.

There are some minor scratches and normal wear due to its age. Please note that there is a very faint, tiny dent on the front left side of the body. It is so small that it is difficult to capture clearly in the photos, and it does not affect the camera's performance at all. Overall, there are no major fatal dents. Please carefully review the attached photos.

・Optics: EXCELLENT.

Lens: No fungus, no haze. Very clean and clear. The legendary Hexanon lens will give you beautiful, sharp photos.
Viewfinder: Clean and clear. The light meter needle is fully visible.

・Functional: Tested and Working!

Shutter: Fires perfectly. The aperture blades open and close smoothly depending on the brightness (Auto Exposure system is working).
Light Meter: Works perfectly! The needle inside the viewfinder responds accurately to light changes. (A battery is required to operate the light meter).
Focusing Ring: Turns smoothly.
ASA (ISO) Dial: Turns smoothly.
Light Seals (Molt): Deteriorated due to age. The film chamber itself is very clean.
