The slab shows excellent definition of the skeletal structure and spine. The back features the vintage handwritten classification.
The fossil is accompanied by an Official Certificate of Authenticity and Paleontological Identification, certifying its legal historical provenance (acquired in the 1970s from the historic Cerato family). Fully legal to own and trade.

Splendido ed eccezionale esemplare fossile di Seriola prisca (antenato della ricciola), proveniente dal celebre giacimento della Pesciara di Bolca (Verona, Italia). Il reperto risale all'Eocene Medio (circa 50 milioni di anni fa).
La lastra mostra un'ottima definizione della colonna vertebrale e della struttura ossea. Sul retro è presente la classificazione d'epoca scritta a mano.
Il fossile è accompagnato da un'Attestazione Ufficiale di Autenticità e Identificazione Paleontologica, che ne certifica la lecita provenienza storica (cessione risalente agli anni '70 dalla storica famiglia Cerato), rendendo il pezzo perfettamente e legalmente commerciabile.
