Description
Beautiful set of two antique oak chairs from the period circa 1880-1910, executed in the rich Henri II / Neo-Renaissance style. The chairs are characterized by their solid oak construction, finely hand-carved leaf and volute ornaments, turned front legs and original, elegant silhouette.
The rush seats are in decent condition and provide comfortable seating. The wood has developed over the years a warm, deep patina that enhances the authenticity and appearance. The chairs are sturdy and form, both separately and together, a atmospheric addition to a classic or eclectic interior
