GENERAL:
Dodge - WC51 - 1942 Dodge original from World War II, preserved with all its original features, manufactured by Dodge Chrysler between 1940-1945 for the US Army and allies. As a notable highlight of the WC series (Weapons Carrier), this 3/4-ton model became the backbone of Allied tactical transport thanks to its legendary durability and 4x4 traction, being a direct evolution of the first half-ton vans developed at the start of the war. It has spent much of its existence in France, until in 2006 it was imported to Spain, when it was registered. Since then it has been owned by the same owner, who has kept it on display in a museum.
CARROCERÍA Y PINTURA:
The vehicle was restored years ago and currently sports a beautiful patina that gives it a very original look. It preserves all its original features from the period.
MECHANICS:
It mounts the original six-cylinder gasoline engine. It is in good mechanical condition.
INTERIOR:
The cabin retains its original configuration and elements corresponding to its military specification.
DOCUMENTACIÓN:
Registered in Spain in 2006 after being imported from France.
RECOGIDA:
The car is available for inspection and pickup in Borox (Toledo).
