A red-figure terracotta amphora, from the Hellenistic period (late 4th century BC), of Oud-Grieks culture, measuring 68 cm high by 27 cm wide, with a white-painted winged deity (likely Eros) and palmettes, originating from Apulia or Campania and sold with a TL certificate and a custom plexiglass display case.

Description:
Unique red-figure earthenware amphora, adorned with a white-winged god, probably Eros. Surrounded by palmettes, originating from Apulia or Campania, dating to the Hellenistic period, second half of the 4th century BCE. Very likely from the workshop of the famous 'White Saccos' painter from that era.
With restorations and inpainting, 68 × Ø 27 cm. All in good condition. Including a custom-made, handsome, sturdy Plexiglas display case with a mirrored back and wall bracket.
