Bodywork and paint
This 1956 first-series Citroën 2CV presents in excellent overall condition. The body is well aligned and the paintwork is in good condition, with a uniform finish and a gloss consistent with the vehicle’s level of preservation. There are exclusively light signs of use compatible with the car’s age, with no dents or significant aesthetic defects.
The seals, glass, light assemblies and chromed elements are in good condition and well integrated with the car as a whole. The underbody and structural parts appear sound, with no evident signs of penetrating corrosion or visible structural interventions.
Technical condition
The car is in good mechanical condition and is regularly operational. The twin-cylinder engine starts both cold and hot and runs smoothly, with power delivery that is fluid and coherent with the model’s characteristics.
Brakes, suspension and clutch perform their functions regularly, ensuring a pleasant driving experience.
Interior condition
The interiors are very well preserved and reflect the authentic charm of the first-series 2CV.
