Original Lucas HF728 New Alto 12V horn set – High & Low Tone – professionally chrome-plated and tested
Offered is an original Lucas HF728 New Alto horn set, consisting of one high tone and one low tone horn. It is a complete, cohesive set that has been fully tested and functions well.
The horns feature original Lucas markings. Inside, the numbers 700590 and 700943 are present. Both horns bear the date code 9-7, very likely referring to September 1947.
The set is designed for 12-volt systems and makes a handsome addition for a classic British automobile, restoration project, or collection.
The housings have been professionally re-chromed and are in very neat condition. The grills have a beautiful shine and appearance. There is only a very small imperfection visible on one grill; it is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the presentation or operation of the set. See the last photo.
