Leica III (black lacquer finish)

This model with a black lacquer finish is of robust construction and offers an excellent grip. It has undergone a full overhaul (cleaning, lubrication and adjustment) and has been used regularly; I am selling it only because I just acquired an M7. The shutter speeds, both fast and slow, are precise (tested), the shutter curtains are well flat and perfectly light-tight, and the film advance is smooth. The body shows signs of use, notably wear that reveals brass on the edges, but the handling experience remains outstanding.
