Rolleiflex 2.8 E — Franke & Heidecke, Braunschweig, ca. 1956-1959. Serial No. 1655994. One of the most desirable classic 6x6 TLRs, fitted with the coveted fast Carl Zeiss Planar.

- Taking lens: Carl Zeiss Planar 1:2.8 f=80mm (No. 787645) — the prized fast Planar, far more desirable than the Xenar variant
- Viewing lens: Heidosmat 1:2.8 f=80mm
- Shutter: Synchro-Compur (B, 1-1/500s) — tested and working at all speeds including 1 s by the previous owner
- Built-in selenium light meter: tested and working (needle responds)
- Format: 6x6 cm on 120 roll film

Provenance: private collection of an experienced photographer.

Condition: cosmetically very good for its age — glossy chrome and clean black body. Taking Planar clear (no fungus or haze). Comes complete with the original ever-ready leather case and Bay III lens caps. Buyer welcome to request additional photos.
