41 letters and envelopes from the 19th and 18th centuries
Some still show remnants of the wax seal, with date stamps and seals. folded at the time, which is how they were delivered directly to the recipient, papers ranging from thicker to thinner
The seals also bear a maker’s mark. Beautiful handwriting, the letters are in good condition, some torn at the seal area
