Very beautiful pair of solid bronze cassolettes with a large Siena yellow marble base, entirely original and uncleaned, with a patina over 200 years old, dating from the restoration period 1814-1830. Bronze checked with slight scratching; the bright yellow color appears beneath the patina (see photo). Needs a light tightening at one base. The overall weight is substantial, over 12 kilograms.
