Description from the seller

The AEG Mignon Model 3, also known as the Vasanta model, is a typewriter produced by Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft (AEG) of Berlin.
The Mignon series is characterized by a peculiar pointer-based writing system, which is not used in traditional machines with a full alphabetic keyboard. This pointer is used to select characters together with the two operating keys, one of which is intended for return.
The characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and symbols, are arranged on a rotating and movable cylinder that shifts according to the character selected on the alphanumeric table.
The table consists of 7 rows of 12 symbols each, for a total of 84 characters and marks.
Without a cover (carrying case), there are some marks on the metal housing.
Roller in excellent condition, as is the writing unit, perfectly clean and preserved. Fully functional, the typing test is not perfect because the original ribbon is dry, without ink.
