A 100 Leva silver coin minted during the reign of Boris III, one of the most important rulers of modern Bulgaria. The obverse features the czar’s portrait looking to the left, rendered in a realistic, sober style that reflects the official aesthetics of interwar Europe. The reverse shows the denomination 100 Leva and the date 1937 in a decorative composition framed by ears of wheat and botanical motifs, symbols of prosperity and agricultural development. The specimen retains much of its original mint luster, with sharp relief and only light wear at the highest points of the design, features consistent with its AU58 grade. The fields present an attractive, even appearance, with discreet circulating marks barely perceptible. This issue belongs to a relatively stable period of the Kingdom of Bulgaria prior to World War II and constitutes one of the most representative silver denominations of Boris III’s reign.
