Aluminum 50 Sen coin with a richly detailed design and strong symbolic charge, where the obverse shows a ceremonial altar framed by complex decorative elements inspired by traditional Khmer, highlighting the fineness of the engraving. The reverse presents a more orderly composition, with the legend in French and the denomination in Khmer surrounded by a well-defined laurel crown. The coin is in excellent condition, with intense original luster, clean fields, and sharp reliefs, showing only minimal contact marks. Issued during the Kingdom of Cambodia, it reflects a period of cultural assertion and balance between local tradition and Western influences in the mid-20th century.
