Rare native gold var. Romanian electrum. Originating from the famous Rosia Montana deposits.
They are fine, small crystals that form an aggregate like a sponge. A typical cluster of these veins. These veins that yielded samples of this kind of gold were among the richest. Widths range from a few centimeters to a few tens of centimeters.
