Vintage NOKYA brass sign. Channel letters (Channel Letters)

Exterior storefront sign for a high-end commercial building from the 1970s-1980s. The letters are hollow to avoid excessive weight when hanging while giving them volume. It seems the shop owner made a spelling error when ordering them, as it should read Nokia and not Nokya when installing the mobile repair service.

These letters are 12 cm tall with width varying by letter. The A, for example, is 18 cm wide. Their thickness is 3 cm. In total, the weight of the letters is 2674 g.

I've left them semi-polished, but they can be cleaned further if desired.

Rotulo exterior de fachada comercial de alta gama de los años 1970-1980. Las letras son huecas para evitar un excesivo peso al colgarlas pero que dieran volumen. Parece ser que el dueño del local/comercio cometió un error ortográfico al encargarlas pues se escribe Nokia y no Nokya al montar ewl servicio técnico de reparación de móviles. Estas letras son de 12 cm de altura con un ancho variable según la letra. La A, por ejemplo, es de 18 cm de ancho. Su grosor es de 3 cm. En conjunto el peso de las letras es de 2674 g. Las he dejado semilímpias, pero fácilmente se pueden limpiar más si se desea.
