A rare pair of Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain spoons, exquisitely decorated in the Hundred Flowers (Baihua) pattern on a black-ground (Famille Noire), with a continuous profusion of blossoms (Baibua Buluodi, “flowers without visible ground”). The rich decoration includes peonies and other flowering plants in vibrant shades of pink, blue, green and white, creating a dense and highly decorative composition.
