Offered is an attractive antique Galonne open-face pocket watch featuring a beautifully decorated white enamel dial with floral motifs in silver, gold, and blue enamel. The watch is equipped with a visible balance through the lower aperture and is marked "8 Jours" and "8 Tage", indicating an eight-day movement intended for the French- and German-speaking markets.
The inner case back is signed Galonne and bears the serial number 103323, along with Swiss case markings.
The watch is not in working order and is therefore offered as a restoration project, for spare parts, or as a decorative collector's piece. The movement has not been tested beyond confirming that it is non-running.
