A fine bronze sword from the Eastern Mediterranean, featuring a triangular blade that tapers to a point. The weapon displays a raised ridged mid-rib which leads to a rectangular, flanged hilt with a wedge-shaped pommel in which an inlay plaque would have originally been placed. Above the hilt, a penannular guard decorates the bottom of the blade. A greenish-brown patina covers the surface. Signs of wear as consistent with its age, such as chips to the edges and scratches.
