The egg cups shown in the image are splendid vintage collectible objects in fine English terracotta, historically known as Real Ironstone China.
They were produced by the English manufacturer Ashworth Bros. (Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent), probably between the late 19th century and the early decades of the 20th century. The B.I.S.N. Co. mark is associated with the British India Steam Navigation Company, a large shipping company that commissioned tableware and items for onboard use on ships.

Producer: The internal mark visible on the base reads 'Ashworth Bros' (G.L. Ashworth & Bros Ltd), a historic British company founded in 1862 in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent (Staffordshire). This manufactory is famous for having taken over and continued the production of the famous Mason's Patent Ironstone patterns.
The acronym B.I.S.N.C.: This acronym indicates a special commission production (likely for a shipping company, a railway line, or an elite club of the era, such as the British India Steam Navigation Company). Items marked this way were made to high-resistance standards for daily use aboard ships or in large hotels.
