Description from the seller

An elegant crystal decanter attributed to Baccarat, the renowned Paris pattern, distinguished by its beautifully hand-cut elongated olive motifs that create a magnificent play of light. The graceful pear-shaped silhouette, exceptional clarity, and refined craftsmanship perfectly embody the timeless elegance and outstanding quality for which Baccarat has long been celebrated.
Although the accompanying original Baccarat catalogue illustrates the Paris pattern on a different decanter shape, Baccarat produced this celebrated cut on several silhouettes. The present example represents the same Paris pattern in an elegant alternative form.
The decanter is preserved in very good antique condition. As expected from a crystal piece of about 100 years of age, light traces of time and use are present, including minor water and mineral residue visible inside the decanter. These are typical signs of authentic antique crystal and do not detract from its beauty or display quality.
The stopper is an old replacement rather than the original Baccarat stopper. It displays a few small edge chips, which remain virtually invisible when the stopper is inserted, preserving the elegant overall appearance of the decanter.
A refined and highly decorative example of early 20th-century Baccarat crystal, offering exceptional quality, timeless French elegance, and the enduring appeal of one of Baccarat’s classic cut patterns.
