AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Vintage Beni Mguild rug hand-knotted by the weavers of the Moroccan Middle Atlas. A truly exceptional piece, both for its very large size and for the remarkable density of its decoration, a rarity at these dimensions.
The background dons a deep Bordeaux purple, sumptuous and warm, entirely grid-patterned with juxtaposed diamonds. Each compartment holds its own motif, stars, diamonds, rosettes and Berber symbols, in a profusion of details highlighted with orange, pink, ivory and saffron. This richness of composition, where no diamond looks exactly like the one before it, testifies to long, meticulous weaving work and true mastery. The patina of time unifies the whole in deep, velvety tones, the signature of the finest vintage pieces.
With a length of 4.50 meters, it is a ceremonial rug, meant to dress a large living room and bring warmth, depth and character, in a bohemian, vintage, eclectic or contemporary interior.
Finishes with twisted fringe at the ends.
