Description: A very fine, early 19th-century Empire teapot, executed with a wooden knob and handle and featuring an engraved decorative line along the side. The spout contains a shield-shaped cartouche.
Origin: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Silversmith: Jacobus Carrenhof

Hallmarks: standing crowned lion, city mark, master mark (ICH), year letter W, retailer's mark Diemont, V tax mark
Condition: in good condition, restoration to the spout
