DESIGN & MATERIALS
This exceptional French Art Deco chandelier features a masterfully hand-crafted frame made of traditional French wrought iron (Fer forgé). The iron displays a highly detailed, sculptural motif of grapevines and clusters of grapes, finished with a distinctive blackened/gunmetal patina showing authentic signs of age.
The glass elements are made of premium, hand-blown mottled glass (pâte de verre). When unlit, they display a rich, cloudy blend of yellow, orange, deep blue, and green tones. When illuminated, the glass creates a warm, spectacular, and atmospheric lighting effect. Since all four glass components are signed, this documents a completely original and matching matching ensemble.
