Bedrest - Sonraï - Mali (No reserve price)

A rare to find pottery bed support used to support the wooden poles on which a matress could than be placed.
In this way the bed is elevated from the floor. Used in the Sonrai-community, who live alongside the banks of the river Niger in Central-Mali. Decorated with red ocre and with some chipping on the rim. Height.; 18 cm.
