Vintage portable Standard Micronic Ruby SR-H438 radio, manufactured in Japan during the 1960s. It is a pocket-sized model from the golden age of Japanese transistor receivers, equipped with 8 transistors, which represented an advanced and highly miniaturized design for its time.

Original power supply
This model was designed to operate with two 1.35 V mercury batteries (PX625/MR-9 type or era-equivalent). These batteries stopped being manufactured years ago due to environmental restrictions on mercury usage. For that reason, the radio has not been tested.
