Akai - AM-2200 Solid state integrated amplifier

Here is a device that will please music lovers with limited space for their hi-fi setup. An amplifier from Akai's 1976 range, the AM-2200 remains an excellent unit, delivering 20 watts per channel into 8Ω with a reasonable total harmonic distortion of 0.5%.

The features are on par with more upscale models: this amp provides connections for a tuner, a turntable, an auxiliary source, and two tape decks. Note also the presence of very complete tone controls (bass and treble potentiometers, high-pass and low-pass filters, loudness).
