The Meltingpot table plays a central role in the circular design practice of Kooij. Discarded prototypes of recycled plastic, production defects and color tests form the basis of the Meltingpot. These multifaceted elements are assembled into spontaneous, vibrant landscapes: ready to be heated and pressed into sturdy sheets of rough material. The tables are loving maps of the studio's history, representing a fleeting interaction between our colorists and the material of the day.

De Meltingpot tafel speelt een centrale rol in de circulaire ontwerppraktijk van Kooij. Afgedankte prototypes van gerecycled plastic, productiefouten en kleurtesten vormen de basis van de Meltingpot. Deze veelvormige elementen zijn samengesteld tot spontane, levendige landschappen: klaar om te worden verwarmd en geperst tot stevige platen ruw materiaal. De tafels zijn liefdevolle kaarten van de studiogeschiedenis, die een vluchtige interactie vertegenwoordigen tussen onze coloristen en het materiaal van de dag.
