Up for auction: a fundamental accessory to improve the ergonomics and stability of the Mamiya Press medium-format system: the original Mamiya Press Pistol Grip.
This accessory mounts securely to the camera body, transforming the camera’s handling and allowing perfect handheld control. It features an integrated shutter trigger connected to a flexible braided metal cable (visible in the photos) to be screwed into the lens’ shutter.

Features: Adjustable safety strap with raised Mamiya branding, mechanical trigger, and flexible braided cable.
Lot condition:
Appearance: Very good. The black plastic body is glossy and well preserved. The hand strap is flexible, intact, and bears the original “Mamiya JAPAN” branding clearly legible.
Mechanical & Functionality: As this item was received as an heirloom, it is being sold as untested in the field with a camera. However, the trigger mechanism responds correctly to pressure, and the inner pin of the flexible cable slides freely without snagging.
