The 7 cm f/3.5 Tessar lens is not anti-reflective coated, but it produces sharp, high-contrast images, provided you don’t point it too close to the sun. The camera’s relatively short focal length makes focusing less troublesome than on most other medium-format cameras. The camera is a bellows-type folder with automatic aperture: by pressing the release button on the top, the lens quickly opens to the shooting position and the viewfinder also automatically straightens. The paint on the metal finishes of the Ikonta shows oxidation, a sign of long use. However, the bellows are in perfect condition, the camera is fully functional, a vintage piece for connoisseurs of the photographic genre, beautiful to display. Sold with the original case
