Meissen porcelain three-piece coffee service from around 1880–1890, hand-painted Rokoko decor with gilt detailing and pink ornaments, featuring the underglaze blue Meissen swords mark on all parts, comprising a 20.5 cm cake plate, a 14.5 cm saucer, and a cup 7 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm high, in excellent condition with only minor wear.

Rare antique 3-piece Meissen porcelain place setting around 1880 - hand-painted
For sale is a beautiful and rare 3-piece Meissen porcelain place setting from the time around 1880. The fine, hand-painted Rococo decoration with gallant scenes, delicate gold trimmings and soft pink ornaments gives this set an exceptionally elegant aura.
The original underglaze blue Meissen swordmark on all three pieces confirms the origin from the world-famous Meissen porcelain manufactory. Such fully intact place settings from this era are nowadays rarely found and are highly valued by collectors.

* Cake plate: Ø 20.5 cm
* Saucer: Ø 14.5 cm
* Cup: Ø 7 cm, height 6.5 cm
Condition:
Very beautiful, well-preserved condition.
Only slight, age-related wear to the gold in a few spots. Also the small spot at the upper rim of the cup is not a chip, but merely a light wear of the gilding. The fine hand-painting and the gilding are overall very well preserved.
A rare eye-catcher for any Meissen collection and an exceptional piece for lovers of high-quality antique porcelain.
