Wall clock - G&G – Space Age Transistor Space Age Plastic - 1970-1980 - Boxed

Original vintage G&G wall clock dating from the 1970s, featuring a distinctive Space Age design.
The large circular case is made of dark blue moulded plastic with a sculptural, three-dimensional profile. It is complemented by a cream-coloured inner surround and a chrome-finished ring. The unusual white, red and black dial creates a bold geometric composition typical of 1970s Pop and Space Age design.
The hours are displayed with large black Arabic numerals, while the red and white markers improve readability. Black hour and minute hands are accompanied by a slim red seconds hand. The dial is protected by genuine domed glass, which further enhances the clock’s visual depth.
The clock retains its original electromechanical transistor movement, powered by one 1.5 V C/R14 battery. The movement and battery compartment are clean and show no signs of oxidation.
The clock has been tested and is in perfect working order.
The rare original period box is also included. The box shows wear, deformation and age-related deterioration, as clearly shown in the photographs.

Condition
The clock is in excellent vintage condition, without cracks or significant structural damage. Only minimal signs consistent with age and normal use are present. The chrome-finished surface and domed glass may display very light age-related marks, visible in the photographs.
