Set of 2 large French Art Deco vases in flamed glazed ceramic – Louis Gueule (LG) & Elas – circa 1930–1950
Magnificent pair of two large French Art Deco vases in flamed glazed ceramic, bringing together two emblematic productions of French decorative ceramic craftsmanship from the first half of the 20th century.
These two pieces show a remarkable aesthetic harmony thanks to their similar dimensions, architected shapes, and superb brown flamed glazes in warm caramel, moka, chocolate and honey tones.
Presented together, they form a particularly elegant and sought-after decorative ensemble.
1. Vase Louis Gueule (LG) – Model 627 – Vierzon – circa 1930
A superb authentic Art Deco vase signed Louis Gueule (LG), Vierzon factory.
Elegant Model 627 with double geometric handles and stylized relief decoration, characteristic of Louis Gueule’s work during the Art Deco period.
Its architectural silhouette and its rich flamed brown glaze give it a strong decorative presence.
