Portico clock - Wood, Brass - 1850-1900

Elegant French mantel clock attributable to the Charles X period (circa 1825–1830), characterized by a refined temple-front architecture with four turned columns in ebonized wood and gilded bronze capitals. The case is enriched with fine inlays in light woods featuring vegetal motifs and fluted borders, typical of French production of the era. The white enamel dial with Roman numerals is enclosed by a rich chased bronze frame; decorative pendulum in gilded bronze visible at the bottom. Mechanical manual-wind movement with striking function (to be serviced; not tested).
