Description from the seller
Quesera / Mantequillera de cristal tallado y plata de ley 916 – España, segunda mitad del siglo XX
Elegant cheese bell or butter dish made of high-quality carved crystal with sterling silver mounts. The piece stands out for its refined classical design, composed of a generously carved crystal cap with geometric star motifs and deep facets that multiply the light reflections, resting on a matching circular tray with a silver-edged decoration.
The lid is topped with an attractive silver finial in the shape of an acorn surrounded by stylized leaves, an ornamental detail of great elegance that gives personality and distinction to the set.
The mount preserves its silver contrasts, including maker’s mark and 916/1000 fineness, characteristic of Spanish silversmithing in the 20th century.
