Carved and assembled wooden structure, finished with the mecca technique and silver leaf (or silvered metal). Mecca, a transparent resin-based varnish with warm pigments applied to the preparation, shows through and surfaces at wear and small scratches (as seen in the corners and in the grooves), giving the surface that characteristic precious warm and amber undertone.

Struttura in legno intagliato e assemblato, rifinita con la tecnica della mecca e foglia d'argento (o metallo argentato). La mecca, una vernice trasparente a base di resine e pigmenti caldi applicata sulla preparazione, traspare e affiora in corrispondenza delle usure e dei piccoli graffi (come si nota negli angoli e sulle scanalature), conferendo alla superficie quel tipico e prezioso sottotono caldo e ambrato.
