Beautiful and elegant antique ink set, manufactured around 1900 in the classical French Rococo style.
The ink set rests on a sturdy, multi-profiled foot of high-quality red/pink veined marble, supported by four brass feet. At the rear there is a richly decorated bronze/brass top with rocaille and shell motifs, which also functions as a pen rest.
The whole is fitted with two original, gracefully twisted (canneled) glass ink pots with bronze lids.

Condition: In good antique condition. The marble has a beautiful natural pattern.
