Description from the seller
Bread plate in first-law silver 915‰ – J. Roca Barcelona – 73 g
Description
Elegant bread plate made in Spanish first-law silver (915‰), by the prestigious firm J. Roca Barcelona, a historic jewelry and silverware house founded in 1888.
The piece bears the Spanish regulatory hallmarks of the period:
Manufacturer's mark: J. ROCA.
Official assay contrast of first-law silver 915‰ represented by the five-pointed star.
Official assay laboratory mark with balance scales and identifying letters.
Its sober, timeless design, with a double perimeter moulding, makes it an elegant piece for table use as well as a collection of 20th-century Spanish silverware.
This is an officially hallmarked piece, probably manufactured in the mid-20th century, within the validity period of the unified silver assay system in Spain.
