Up for auction is an extremely rare and unique top-tier example of the iconic, fully automatic, direct-drive Optonica RP-7100 from circa 1980. This is widely regarded as one of the most futuristic turntables in hi-fi history, renowned for its incredible build quality and substantial weight of around 9 kg. This is the original European 220V–240V version, meaning it is ready to plug and play across Europe without any voltage converters.
Condition & Service:
Genuine Glass Dust Cover:The heavy original dust cover is made of real glass. It is in absolute mint condition – completely free of scratches or marks, which is extremely rare for this model.
Cosmetics: Gorgeous "Near Mint" (NM) condition across the entire chassis and silver front panel.
Mechanics: Fully serviced, aligned, and perfectly functioning by a professional vintage audio technician.
