Nautical wall clock WEMPE Chronometerwerke Hamburg – Made in Germany – Not working
Elegant nautical-inspired wall clock produced by the prestigious WEMPE Chronometerwerke Hamburg, a historic German manufactory specializing in precision instruments and marine chronometers. The dial, with Roman numerals and the “Made in Germany” inscription, is housed in a distinctive brass helm-shaped case mounted on a wooden panel.
A piece with a strong decorative impact, ideal for décor in a maritime, nautical, industrial, or vintage style, as well as for collectors of nautical instruments and German clockmaking.
Conditions:
The clock is non-functional and is sold as seen in the photographs. It has not been tested nor opened to verify the mechanism; it may require servicing, repair, or restoration. It shows normal signs of aging and wear, with slight tarnishing and wear consistent with its age.
