Old wall-mounted mailbox in cast iron – France – circa 1900-1930

Rare and authentic French wall-mounted mailbox in cast metal, dating from the early 20th century.

This piece is distinguished by its elegant embossed façade, adorned with a central rosette and the inscription “LETTRES”. It is also fitted with its original glass inspection window and retains a very beautiful natural patina acquired over time.

Inside the door is a maker’s mark depicting an anchor with the letters “CF”, as well as the inscription “DÉPOSÉ”, indicating a protected model of the era.
