Louis XV / Napoléon III style display cabinet from around 1900, veneered wood with marquetry, glass-front and side panels, curved cabriole legs, bronze/gold metal fittings, and a Bordeaux capitonné interior, measuring 183 x 79 x 41 cm.

Louis XV / Napoleon III style vitrine, late 19th century.
Elegant display cabinet in veneer wood, with an undulating form and floral marquetry decoration. The piece features a front glazed door with an undulating silhouette, glass side panels, two lower drawers, and cabriole-type curved legs. The lower front is decorated with floral marquetry and a central oval medallion, with decorative metal fittings in bronze/gold tones.
It has ornamental hardware, metal drawer pulls, fittings at the upper corners and on the legs, as well as decorative moldings following the upper contour. The interior is lined with Bordeaux capitonne fabric, with buttons and padded upholstery, suitable for displaying decorative objects, porcelains, glassware, collectible pieces or decorative jewelry.
The piece has elements compatible with the late 19th century: floral marquetry, cabriole legs, decorative metal mounts, undulating silhouette and French revival taste. The Bordeaux capitonne interior may have been replaced.
The piece has French characteristics: an undulating form, cabriole legs, floral marquetry, gold/bronze-toned metal mounts, curved side glass and a Louis XV/Napoleon III revivalist style.
