Art Deco mantel clock in Rouge Belge marble, dating from circa 1930, with a geometric design, a two‑tone dial and raised gold Art Deco numerals, quartz movement (battery powered) and in good used condition with minor signs of age; dimensions 26 x 37 x 8 cm, weight 4.3 kg, origin Belgium.

Description:
Solid Art Deco mantel clock from circa 1930, executed in beautifully veined Rouge Belge marble. The clean geometric design and the high-quality, two-tone dial with gold-coloured Art Deco numerals in relief make this a particularly decorative object from the early 20th century.
The clock has previously been converted to a quartz movement (1× AA battery). The movement runs, but does not keep time accurately.
Condition:
• Marble: Beautiful original condition with normal signs of aging. No cracks or deep chips on the geometric edges.
• Dial & glass: Original, undamaged and fully intact.
• Movement: Later-installed quartz mechanism. Runs, but not accurate; very easy to access and replace via the open rear.
• Base: Equipped with felt pads; wooden support strip on the inside.
