Italian-style Louis XV coffee table in carved and gilded wood, with a pink marble top. Period: early 20th century. Country: Italy. Low rectangular center table, crafted in carved wood, painted and gilded, in the Louis XV taste. Features a waist richly decorated in relief with scrolls, acanthus leaves and vegetal motifs, complemented by carved and pierced garlands. It rests on four cabriole legs, adorned at the knees with shell-shaped elements and topped by carved feet. Removable pink marble top with striking natural veining in green, gray and black tones, featuring a molded edge and rounded corners. The low configuration of a coffee table is a 20th-century adaptation of 18th-century French models. Dimensions: 52 × 84 × 43 cm.
