MB Giochi HeroQuest, Italian edition published by Milton Bradley in 1989, plastic game, 1 object, excellent condition, origin Italy, packaging with original box.
Description from the seller
HeroQuest, the legendary dungeon crawler fantasy adventure board game, in one of its era's most sought-after editions.
It is the vintage Italian edition published by MB Giochi (Milton Bradley) in 1989, born in collaboration with the mythical Games Workshop.
The game simulates a role-playing game experience, managed through an asymmetric system.
Roles: One player takes on the part of the Master (called Morcar in this old European edition, or Zargon in the American edition and in later remakes). Morcar controls the monsters and knows the secret dungeon map. The other players portray the four iconic Heroes: the Barbarian, the Dwarf, the Elf and the Wizard.
The heroes must cooperate to overcome a series of 14 progressive scenarios (the "Quests"), accumulating gold and treasures to buy new equipment between sessions. Characters move by rolling dice and reveal rooms or corridors only when they physically open doors or enter the line of sight. Combat and defense are resolved via special combat dice printed with skulls and shields.
As you can see from the images and from the photo of the box contents, the game is complete with all the accessories needed for the adventures, including the notepad for game notes.
The only flaws are: the absence of an open door, the Gargoyle's wings that came off broken and were duly glued 37 years ago, and the box slightly worn.
An unobtainable game destined for vintage lovers and role-playing game enthusiasts.
