Wooden cabinet stripped, restained, and protected with glossy clear lacquer (maintenance-free).

Due to irreparable defects in the original AM section, the unit was converted into a 3.5-watt tube amplifier, driven by either:
- A solid-state FM tuner with very good reception via whip antenna (87.5–108 MHz);

Since this is a mains-powered unit, there are no external input/output jacks.
