Type of object: Table lamp / Desk lamp.
Era / Style: 1970s, Hollywood Regency style (in the vein of Willy Rizzo, Romeo Rega or Maison Jansen).
Lamp base: Rectangular parallelepiped base in resin or black lacquered wood. The front face is adorned with a geometric inlay of mirror-finish metal strips (two-tone gold brass and silver chrome) forming an interlaced/crisscross motif.
Stem and socket: Cylindrical stem in gold metal, topped with a screw-in thermoplastic socket with the original caution label (“MAX 60W”).
Lampshade: Tall cylindrical shade in ivory/cream fabric.
Electrical system: Entire rewiring/redone with a braided textile cable with a silk-gold effect, a black pass-through switch, and a Vimar connection plug.
Condition
Overall condition: Very good used condition.
Details: Beautiful glow of the metal inlays and the lacquer. The electrical system has been brought up to standard with new components (textile cable, switch, and plug).
