Offered: a beautiful and iconic Coronet Midget subminiature camera in the black bakelite finish (black-look). Produced around 1935 by the Coronet Camera Company in Birmingham, England. This little Art Deco design masterpiece stands only about 6.5 cm tall and weighs almost nothing. At the time, the camera used 16mm film for 6 exposures of 13x18mm.
Shutter: Working (cocks and clicks as it should)
Lens and viewfinder: lens clear; viewfinder with a couple of dust particles
State of the bakelite: (Choose: without cracks or chips
Includes original film spool
Important: On this camera the so-called "safety slide" on the side is missing. For clarification I refer you to the last two photos.
Given the age of these miniature devices, they are sold as collectible and display objects, and the absence of the safety slide is not too serious. The exact mechanical accuracy or photographic operation has not been tested on film. The shutter function has been checked and is working. The viewfinder is clear.
