The enormous ivory-white marble mausoleum is one of the world’s most famous architectural wonders.
It was built in 1631 on the orders of Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Empress Mumtaz Mahal.
This newly reintroduced LEGO Creator Expert version from 2008 includes the four façades of the structure with beautiful arches, balconies and curved windows. The central dome, underlying chambers with a dome and the surrounding minarets are finished with decorative knobs and the elevated platform is set off with sunken arches. The model is finished with graceful details and refined tile work at the base. The set consists of more than 5900 bricks and is specially designed to give the builder a pleasant building experience.
