Mercury barometer and thermometer - Wood - 1960

Antique mercury barometer/thermometer. Produced in the 1960s at the Nordisk Termo Factory in Hellerup, Denmark. The original tag on the back. Beautiful condition. Fully functional. Beautiful to see the mercury at work. With the string on the side, behind the glass a small pointer can be moved as a reminder of what the atmospheric pressure was yesterday. It is an imposing 1.02 meters tall. Two brass hooks hold the hinged front door in place. Due to its fragility and large size, we ship this barometer as a large parcel with plenty of packing material.
